Overzicht
Target group: The course is designed for workers who are involved with (clinical) use of open and sealed radioactive sources and X-ray equipment. The Erasmus MC Health academy provides a range of radiation protection courses. Please contact us, if you are not sure which level is/ what components are required for your work field. This course consists of 4 components:Introduction, X-rays, Sealed sources and Open sources. Please make sure you register for the correct course components.
Content: The following topics will be discussed during an online Introduction meeting using zoom:
- ionizing radiation
- biological effects and risks
- risk analysis
- protective measures in general
In preparation for the meeting, the following is expected:
- self-study
- self-test
- preparation assignment
You will receive more information about the study activities after registration.
