Introduction
Current research
My current research focuses on DNA methylation profiles in cell-free DNA during pregnancy. The goal is to develop biomarkers able to predict adverse pregnancy outcomes and enable tailored preventative treatments for high-risk pregnancies to improve obstetric outcomes.
Interests
My main interests involve obstetrics and public health, with a focus on reproductive health outcomes.
Education and career
Besides my training to become a medical doctor, I completed the Master of Health Economics and Law (HEPL) and the research Master Infection & Immunity at Erasmus University.
