About L.F. (Luis) Perez, MD
Introduction
I am a PhD candidate at Erasmus MC. I completed my medical training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology in Mexico.
Together with my promotors, Prof Mieke Hazes and Dr Radboud Dolhain from the Department of Rheumatology, I started the iFAME ('Inflammunity and fertility in men') project.
This is the first project focusing entirely on the effect of immune-mediated diseases on male sexual health and fertility.
Results of this thesis are expected to have a significant impact on the current way that men with rheumatic diseases are treated.
