About M.L.D. (Marie - Louise) Hoekstra-van Duijn, MD
Introduction
Marie-Louise Hoekstra-van Duijn is a Phd student in the field of Intellectual Disability Medicine. She completed her master Global Health and master Medicine in 2015 at Maastricht University (Maastricht, The Netherlands).
In 2017 she started her vocational training 'Intellectual Disability physician' at Erasmus MC.
In 2018 she started her Phd. Her research focuses on side effects of antipsychotic medication in people with Intellectual Disability, mainly focusing on movement disorders.
