About D. (Damiat) Aoulad Fares, MD
Introduction
I am currently working as a PhD candidate at the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The primary focus of my research is to study the association between telomere length and the risk of neural crest cell related congenital anomalies in offspring. The secondary objective is to study the association between the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System and telomere length, including embryonic growth.
Education and career
I obtained my medical degree at Erasmus MC in January 2017. As a medical doctor, I have worked at the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Franciscus Gasthuis and Erasmus MC. I started my PhD-project in 2018.
